Selling to Chinese buyers when you are from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Vietnam: culture, meetings, decision makers and the mistakes that lose deals

Your next deal with a Chinese buyer depends on understanding their expectations.

8 audio modules in three lengths: the whole course takes 1 h 20 min as a briefing and 6 h 40 min expanded. Workbook, transcript and sources per module, a recorded multiple-choice questionnaire, a certificate per learner. Written for Pakistan, Bangladesh and Vietnam sales.

The moment it goes wrong

A sales team member misinterprets a polite 'maybe' as a definite 'yes' from a Chinese counterpart. Weeks of follow-up yield no progress, delaying crucial orders for your company's pharmaceutical products. This mistake costs your company valuable time and potential market share.

What changes after this course

After this course, your sales team will confidently navigate Chinese business customs and negotiation styles. They will understand key decision-making processes and avoid common cultural missteps. You will receive a training record for each participant, confirming their readiness for engagement with Chinese buyers.

How long it takes, by who is listening

Nobody spends a day in a classroom. Every module exists in three lengths; a person takes the length their role needs, and every length ends with the same recorded questionnaire, so the training record is complete either way.

What is in the course, module by module

8 modules. Under each title are the three things the listener can do afterwards; the audio itself runs 10 to 50 minutes depending on the length chosen. Each module ends with a multiple-choice questionnaire whose result is recorded per person for your auditor. Your human-resources or quality manager decides what counts as passed and when a level is retaken.
