Selling to Chinese buyers when you are from India: culture, meetings, decision makers and the mistakes that lose deals
Your team will close more deals when they understand Chinese buyer expectations.
The moment it goes wrong
Your sales team might misinterpret a polite 'we will consider it' as a firm commitment. This leads to wasted follow-up efforts and missed opportunities for other deals. Losing one major contract due to cultural misunderstanding can cost millions in revenue.
What changes after this course
After this course, your team will confidently navigate Chinese business interactions and secure clearer commitments. They will understand unspoken cues and decision-making processes. You will receive a full training record and individual completion certificates for all participants.
How long it takes, by who is listening
Nobody spends a day in a classroom. Every module exists in three lengths; a person takes the length their role needs, and every length ends with the same recorded questionnaire, so the training record is complete either way.
| Who takes this course | Length | Total time |
|---|---|---|
| Business development and export sales | Briefing | 1 h 20 min |
| Owner, CEO and board | Briefing | 1 h 20 min |
| Marketing and communications | Briefing | 1 h 20 min |
What is in the course, module by module
8 modules. Under each title are the three things the listener can do afterwards; the audio itself runs 10 to 50 minutes depending on the length chosen. Each module ends with a multiple-choice questionnaire whose result is recorded per person for your auditor. Your human-resources or quality manager decides what counts as passed and when a level is retaken.
